Rossmann is expanding steadily to get even closer to its customers and to be able to fulfil the wishes and needs of the people in Germany.

The company is trying to make your shopping experience at Rossmann health and beauty shops as comfortable as possible by providing the new sites with e.g. parent/child parking spaces, air conditioning and customer toilets.  Moreover, the company strives to intensify its branch network in order to provide more convenience for customers. Rossmann Expansion is therefore on the lookout for locations which, together with full-range retailers and/or discount supermarkets, will satisfy daily shopping. A complementary mix of textile, shoe and organic retailers is preferred. By establishing new retail shops, Rossmann also wants to participate in urban development: priority here is placed on prime and secondary prime sites as well as retail parks, shopping centres and local high streets.

The following conditions are defined for the search of retail sites across Germany:

• Site: Town or independent urban districts with at least 8,000 inhabitants
• Town centre: Prime or secondary prime retail sites and
• Shopping centres with a high customer footfall
• Commercial parks: attractive shopping and retail parks with
• An extensive and lucrative variety of businesses

Retail space:

• Retail space: approx. 500 to 800 m
• Representative shop front
• Minimum width of shop: 10.5 m
• Additional rooms: approx. 100 to 120 m² (staff room, washrooms and stockroom)
• Street trading: minimum 4 m²
